I've never been keen on winter but over the past year ive learnt how to embrace the South African winter and my ultimate Winter Fashion Fetish is Trench Coats... I think with the right trench and attitude we can all kick the cold to the curb... the hottest thing trending in S.A winter fashion at the moment is Army fashioned tayloring... big buttons paired with cool neutrals or screams of  'notice me' bright colours... Winter Wonderland...

Breaking into the Makeup Biz!

So my cuz Thandi and I have hatched this amazing idea of launching into the makeup business and im having an awesome time just trying to kick start this little venture.
how did it all begin?...
Well a friend of mine had mentioned that I would do a horrible job as a hair stylist but would do a bang- up job as a makeup artist! I ran this past my best cuz as a joke and (at the risk of sounding clichéd) The rest is just history.
To test my makeup artistry skills we decided to get to work right away... for your Entertainment...

Strip tease 101...

Life has a funny way of putting you in the craziest situations... who would’ve thought I’d find myself in a micro- mini pair of high waisted shorts, sheer stockings, high heels and a kitten design masquerade ball mask doing a seductive strip tease for a hall full of boys- the aftermath of this was heated comments from hot blooded boys with uncontrollable libido’s & the “green eyed monster”- jealousy- from the female species... this life altering expeience is the reason for my latest post and I hope it will come in handy for anyone who needs an instant confidence boost
Tips for the perfect strip tease:
1.   Try not to do this on your own- dancing with your friends takes so much of the pressure away
2.   Find an outfit that’s sexy, as comfy as can be, highlights your best assets and doesn’t compromise your moral compass.
3.   Find a focus point- instead of looking into the audience look at the back of the room.
4.   Think positive thoughts- you’ve practised, you’re ready- YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS!!
5.   Have fun J

It turns out doing a strip tease for random strangers can be an unexpected confidence booster!

Lulu Cafe... Heaven on Earth...

Looking back at the year past, I only have amazing memories, as a novice to the world of employment, I realised being part of " the working class" took a lot of energy out of me, until I discovered my own heaven on earth... tucked away in a little shopping complex near Rivonia Road.
I had found my new home for the year ahead... Lulu cafe was my sanctuary, I could relax and unwind while sipping on a cappucino or fruit frosti and snack on a blueberry muffin or croissant before a hectic shift.

Now that life has taken me in a different direction, I cant help but be thankful and remember all the good times...  Thanx for the beautiful memories- Much appreciated!
